Blog 2.0

Well this past week I’ve started playing the Technic pack for Minecraft once again and have also re-subscribed to Eve Online.

Minecraft is funny because you can spend  a long period not playing it at all and then suddenly have the urge to get started again. After watching Harry Gomm’s latest Tekkit video I was reminded of the Technic pack, this being a series of mods that have been carefully selected and made easily accessible via a launcher, I love a lot of the advance machinery that the pack introduces as well as the number of advanced dungeons that can be found across any world created with the pack installed.
So far I’ve just started construction of my house using: logs, planks, marble, cobble, basalt and glass. The pack adds a number of blocks to Minecraft’s already large collection, for example marble and basalt; while these are also useful in some recipes they look great!
Here is my house so far.
Another thing you can see in the back ground that is added by the Technic pack is additional villages with NPCs that you can trade with and interact with.

Any way here is a link to the packs website if you’re interested.

In other news, I’ve been flying around the cold vastness of space in space MMO EVE Online.
EVE is my favourite MMO that is currently available due to the fact of its uniqueness, no other MMO dumps all the players in one open environment and lets them loose to do what ever they want without having to worry about the devs ruining their fun. The last couple of day have been hard if you were trying to get access to Jita, the main trading hub in the game, as the Alliance Goonswam have been suicide bombing anyone and everyone there in a very successful effort to drive the prices of resources in the game into the sky. Today everything seems back to normal around the space stations of Jita, but on the markets the prices of minerals that were already increasing due to the recent change of the loot mechanics of rogue drones have been helped along by their weekend efforts.

Alls fair in war I suppose!

New beginnings!

Well this lasted long didn’t it. Here’s to new beginnings, I’m going to attempt to reboot this blog, but with a more personal touch from my point of view.

I hope this time things will last a bit longer. Watch this space!
